Post pregnancy figures are what many new mothers are trying to achieve. Whether you are a celebrity or a busy working mother, a post pregnancy figure can be yours without being difficult.

MasterCleanse.com is a source of tips and so is this feature on how you can get into shape after pregnancy.

  1. Take your baby for walks: Use your pushchair or stroller to put your baby in and then go for walks outside or around your local park. When you do this, you are burning excess calories. The weight that you need to push of your baby and the stroller means that you are exercising your arms and legs. Keep your body in top shape and give your baby some fresh air by taking your baby for regular walks every week.
  2. Do pelvic floor exercises: This helps you to stay in shape because it teaches you to be consistent in your approach to lose weight after pregnancy.
  3. Do breastfeeding: Feeding your baby is an amazing experience but it can also help you lose weight if you choose breastfeeding. Consider this is if you wanted an all rounded approach to weight loss after you give birth.
  4. Buy fresh food: Food that is bought fresh tends to have more nutrients packed into it. This helps your body digest the food you are eating better which can help you get your body back to how it used to be.
  5. Eat fish: This is a top choice to include in your weight loss diet after you have a baby. It has omega-3 fatty acids which help to keep your brain healthy and they just melt into your body. You can have fish in a variety of ways but one of the best ways to have it cooked is when it is grilled. Try and have fish several times a week to get the nutrition you need from it.
  6. Have citrus fruits: Make sure that you include lemons and oranges in your diet to have a natural injection of sugar without having to resort to sugary foods or sweeteners.
  7. Exercise for 30 minutes: It can be difficult to find time in your schedule to go jogging or running. Both of these exercises are cardiovascular options for new mothers to shed off the weight without taking too much time in their schedules. Stick to a timetable of days where you can exercise such as weekends or early mornings before you go to work.
  8. Sleep regularly: Ensure that you get at least 7 – 8 hours of sleep each day. This is difficult with a new baby but you need to sleep so that your body has time to rest and recharge its batteries.

With a selection of these top tips, you will see that losing weight after a baby can be done without major changes or disruptions to your lifestyle. With some focus and determination, you can get that post-baby figure back the way you want.
