Fresh frigs, on the other hand, may be taken in moderation. Dried dates should also be avoided. Dates are known to have one of the highest glycemic loads out of all dried fruits.

 

Fruit juices that use corn syrup or sugar in them should not be consumed. Remember that there are many processed juices around and most of them do not contain as much or only contain a little amount of the supposed real juice. Try to keep it as natural as possible. Further, keep your fruit juice consumption a maximum of 4oz. only. This should keep your diet balanced and avoid any type of bad effects on your blood sugar level. Getting to know which food items are good for you and which are not is essential to keep your diabetes at bay. It is the biggest favor that you will ever do for yourself.
